* Centurion's 3-year warranty on the motor. We cover the first year on-site at no charge; after that the gate motor is still covered, but callout and labour are charged. The warranty doesn't cover the batteries.
We're not VAT registered, so we don't charge VAT.
We install the whole Centurion range, including the D3 SMART+ and D4 SMART+ for lighter gates, the D10 Turbo SMART+ for fast, light gates, the D20 SMART+ for gates up to 2,000 kg, and double swing gates. Ask us which motor suits your gate.
Theft-resistant bracket or anti-theft cage
Locks the motor down, so it's much harder to steal.

Stop the gate closing on a car or a person. You need them if you want the gate to close by itself.

Surge protection
Helps protect the motor's electronics from lightning and power surges. Johannesburg gets about 15 to 20 lightning flashes per square kilometre a year.
The prices above are for replacing a motor, which is most of our work: the new motor goes onto your existing rack and cabling. A new installation also needs a rack and power to the gate, so we quote it separately. Send us a photo of your gate and tell us:

We'll recommend the right motor for your gate and send you a written quote before any work starts. Quotes from photos are free.
Wendy or Franz will agree a date and time with you. Our team arrives on time with everything needed for the job, so there are no delays. Replacing an old motor with a new one normally takes about 2 hours.
We code your remotes, show you how to use the motor and its manual release, answer your questions and leave the site clean.
Every motor we fit comes with 2 remotes, except the D10 SMART+. You can add more ways to open your gate, on a new motor or the one you already have.
Extra remotes. We can supply and code extra remotes for everyone in the house.
A keypad. Give specific people a PIN instead of a remote, or let your armed response company in when your alarm goes off.
An intercom. Talk to visitors at the gate and let them in from inside the house. See our intercom systems.
Your phone. SMART+ motors work with Centurion's MyCentsys Remote app. For an older motor, a G-ULTRA module lets you open the gate from your phone.
If you want the gate to close by itself, you'll also need safety beams, so it can't close on a car or a person.

Yes, in most cases, whether it's a sliding or a swing gate. Send us a photo and we'll tell you which motor suits it. The gate has to run smoothly by hand before a motor goes on, so if it's bent, or its track or wheels are worn, we can fix that first. See gate welding and repairs.
Yes, most of our installations are motor replacements: the new motor goes onto your existing rack and cabling. The old motor is yours to keep, but if you'd like us to take it away and dispose of it, we will. We take old motors apart and recycle the parts that can be recycled.
Replacing an existing motor normally takes about 2 hours. A new installation takes longer, because it also needs a rack and power to the gate.
Yes, the motor needs mains power to keep its battery charged. If there's no power at the gate, we can run power to it. When you ask for a quote, tell us how far the closest power point is from the gate.
Yes. Centurion's SMART+ motors have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so you can open the gate with Centurion's MyCentsys Remote app. For an older motor, we can fit a G-ULTRA module that lets you open the gate from your phone.
