Think of replacing your old garage door? No problem. We’ll remove your old garage door with all its components and install a new garage door of your choice. We can install a new garage door motor or reconnect your old garage door motor. We have a lot of experience in low headroom areas as well where we have installed a double track system very successfully. A caravan size garage door can also be installed where needed.
These garage doors are extremely maintainable as most of the components are made according to an industry standard. Sectional garage doors are manufactured out of timber (wooden garage doors), steel (also know as Corotex, Chromadek and Alu-Zink garage doors) or aluminium and can be insulated to prevent heat loss. These garage doors come in different designs. Most popular are the blocked panels and the horizontal slated panels.
The most popular sectional garage door by far is the Zink-Alum Steel (we call them Alu-Zink) or Corotex garage doors. These doors are very low in maintenance and much lighter and much cheaper than the wooden sectional garage doors. These doors are made of Zink-Alum Steel which has a “wood grain” imprint and powder coated to basically any colour you would like. The standard colours are white, brown, bronze or charcoal.
Timber sectional garage doors are manufactured from laminated Meranti hardwood. These garage doors are
factory treated with two coats of water repellent, fungal resistant clear oil-based wood preservative.
