We do every installation ourselves, with our own team, and never use

Every price also includes taking your old door away, if you want us to, and reconnecting your existing garage door
motor if you're keeping it. Prices are for standard sizes. Special sizes, insulated doors and doors with windows or
glass panels are quoted separately. We're not VAT registered, so we don't charge VAT.

A standard installation needs at least 400 mm of headroom. If you have less, we can fit a low-headroom double-track system, which needs at least 250 mm. If you accept the quote, we check everything on site before you pay the deposit.

We'll help you choose the right door and send you a written quote before any work starts. Quotes are free.
If you accept the quote, we come out to check the opening before you pay the deposit. A standard-size door is normally installed within 3 business days of the deposit. A special-size door is made to order and takes about 21 business days.
Wendy or Franz will agree a date with you. A single door takes about 4 hours and a double about 5, but we book a whole day for a double door or two single doors, so we never have to rush. We take out your old door and take it away if you want us to, fit and balance the new door, and reconnect your motor or fit a new one.
After that, we'll contact you every year to offer you a garage door service, so your door and motor keep running smoothly.
Alu-Zink is by far the most popular. It's steel with a zinc-aluminium coating, a wood-grain imprint and a powder-coated colour, so it needs very little maintenance and it's much lighter and cheaper than a wooden door. Some people still call steel garage doors “Corotex”, after the material the old steel roll-up doors were made from.
Wood gives your home the natural look of real wood, but it needs the most care: the door has to be sealed after it's installed and again every six months (see the questions below).
Aluminium is light and doesn't rust. A lighter door puts less strain on the motor and springs, and it's easier to open by hand in a power cut.
We can also fit insulated doors, which keep the garage cooler in summer and warmer in winter, and doors with windows or glass panels. Very little space above the opening? We've installed many low-headroom double-track systems.

On the day, a single door takes about 4 hours and a double about 5. We book a whole day for a double door or two single doors, so we never have to rush.
We take it out when we fit the new one. If you don't want to keep it, we take it away and dispose of it, and that's included in the price.

Single, double, caravan-size and special sizes. Our standard opening sizes are 2,440 × 2,100 mm for a single door and 4,880 × 2,100 mm for a double. Any other size is made to order and takes about 21 business days.
We install sectional garage doors only, in Alu-Zink, wood or aluminium. If you have an old tip-up or roll-up door, we can take it out and replace it with a sectional door.
Seal a new wooden door within two weeks of installation with a good-quality, penetrating, water-repellent wood sealer: three coats on the outside and one on the inside. After that, check the door every three months and give the outside one coat every six months. Don't use varnish: it can't move with the wood, so it cracks and peels.
